Heat, delivery and returns

Every product page shows a heat rating out of five. 1 is mild, 3 is a proper kick and 5 is Carolina Reaper. If in doubt, start at 2 and work up.

Every sauce and pickle is gluten-free, and all but one are vegan: Honey Habanero Heist has honey in it, and says so on the label.

Unopened, 12 months from the bottling date on the label. Once opened, keep sauces in the fridge and use them within 6 months. Pickles are best eaten within 4 weeks of opening.

Standard delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48) is £3.95 and free over £40. Next-day is £5.95. Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday leave the same day.

Send us a photo within 30 days and we will refund you or send a replacement, whichever you like. You do not need to post anything back.

Small batches. When a sauce sells out it is usually already fermenting again; the product page shows when it is back. Join the mailing list and we will tell you.

Prepaid for three or six months. One box goes out on the first Monday of each month with two new sauces or pickles and a recipe card. It never renews on its own.
